Missions 2023

18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 [g]Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to [h]follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you [i]always, to the end of the age.”

-- Matthew 28:18 (NASB)

In the beginning the “Word” spoke & the world was formed. At a marked time, the “Word” spoke again & His Kingdom reformation on earth as it is in heaven began.

With His authority given to us, we have been Kingdom building & making disciples in our communities & nations of Africa all the way to Jerusalem this past year.

With the commission to GO to all nations, God has us building resources at home to invest into these missions. Simultaneously, he has us co-labouring with “men of peace” in various areas, making disciples that are authentic & relevant to their world. The Holy Spirit is accelerating His apostolic thrust & defining our focus as we follow His leading.

This year, our connection to the land of Israel & its people has been strengthened with strategic relationships & opportunities to engage in acts of faith & service. It is exciting to be embracing this aspect of the “Word”

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed [k]from faith to faith; as it is written: “[l]But the righteous one will live by faith.”

-- ROMANS 1:16 NASB (italics added)

Kenya has also been another exciting build, with such faith expressed & the goodness of God witnessed. We have added to what is happening on the ground there by assisting in the initiation of a preschool & medical health outreaches. We have stimulated planning toward sustainable commercial food & water projects. Leaders have been discipled, imparted to & supported in Kingdom advancement in over 300 gatherings throughout Kenya in the past 3 years.

New opportunities in Mozambique have led to economic development in community, children & education projects, food security initiatives & strengthening of leaders. What a joy to continually serve in this nation.

The eastern DRC, with all its extreme difficulties, is seeing fresh hope & vision come alive in leaders. Kingdom expansion into new gathering places is being forged, upliftment & empowerment of widows & abused women is flourishing, & powerful faith being evidenced in community. It is humbling to see God at work in these people.

Jean de Dieu & the Burundian church is thriving. Evangelism is impacting communities; believers are maturing & Kingdom gatherings are being planted regularly. They have started a caring family home for street children & orphans which is giving hope & future to the unloved & despised.

Building with the church in Uganda, Lesotho, Ghana & Pakistan is ongoing. More God relationships are being formed in other nations as He calls us to GO! It really is exciting to be living in this day & labouring to see a movement of Gods glory across the earth.

You really should open your heart to “GO” & serve this coming year, your witness & gift needs to “GO”, as Romans 10:15b says “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!”
